Although the research on the utilization of stone waste in the stone industry in China has not been conducted for a long time, stone practitioners in China have developed a variety of utilization methods for stone waste, waste residue, and stone powder.

The following is an introduction to the utilization methods of major domestic stone waste, slag, and stone powder:

1. Used in the production of artificial sand, foundry sand, and waterproof materials such as asphalt felt debonding powder. Used in the casting of steel parts, it is easy to peel off the film, and the casting is smooth.

2. Filling agents and paint fillers for chemical products, architectural decoration and painting, etc.

3. Instead of baking soda, it can be used in leather making. Stone powder can replace large baking soda to produce leather acid, and replacing small baking soda can increase the alkalinity of soldering tanning. Using this process can reduce labor intensity and improve economic benefits.

4. As a combustion aid and desulfurizer for domestic coal, adding 5% - 10% marble powder to production coal can not only save coal, but also support combustion, reduce the emission of sulfur dioxide gas, and improve the indoor and outdoor environment.

When making welding electrodes, adding stone powder can play a slag forming role and prevent the entry of oxygen and nitrogen into the molten pool and arc.

6. The waste stone slurry produced in various processes in stone processing can be used as cement raw materials, asphalt pavement fillers, and chemical fuel fillers after sedimentation, dehydration, and drying.

7. Add appropriate cement, curing agent, and small stones to the stone slag, and then mix and press the embryo. Can be made into new wall materials.
